The 6319M/C3VL0241 S is an electrically insulated deep groove ball bearing (INSOCOAT ball bearing). A special coating on the outer ring (VL0241) protects against bearing damage and eventual failure due to the passage of electric current.
Electrically insulated bearings are marketed by under the name INSOCOAT. The VL0241 indicates the addition of an aluminium oxide coating on the outer ring to withstand voltages up to 1.000 V DC.
